Running an FM transmitter outside for a Christmas light show can be risky—weather, moisture, and messy wiring can ruin your setup fast. In this video, I show how I built a fully weatherproof FM transmitter case using an Apache 1800 case to protect my audio broadcast equipment year-round. I mounted a Signstek ST-05B FM transmitter inside the case and added clean panel-mounted connections for audio, power, and antenna using BNC and XLR connectors. I walk through the full DIY process including measurements, drilling, cable management, and foam fitting so everything stays secure and professional. This setup keeps my transmitter dry, organized, and easy to deploy for my holiday light show audio, whether you’re using xLights, Falcon controllers, or any pixel-based display. 🔔 Perfect for Christmas light shows, Halloween displays, or any outdoor FM broadcast setup.
