Boca Grande, Florida - Empty beach in December

SW Florida woke up to 54 degrees. Cloudy and a bit chilly on the beach this morning. Pretty empty out here as I am walking. A few birds but not many. There was no breeze but the waves were crashing and it sounds so wonderful. I did spot some dolphins out past the waves swimming around. Always a joy when you can see one of them or even a manatee. The lighthouse in this area, is being worked on. You can see the workers on it and all the platforms built so they can walk around it. This morning you can smell the primer or paint that they must be applying. Just think Christmas will soon be here and then the new year. Time flies by so fast it seems. When we were younger it seemed time was slow and we wanted to be older than what we are. Now, no way. Wish time can go backwards sometimes.
