🏍️ Welcome to Episode 2 of our Blue Ridge Motorcycle Tour! Today’s ride through North Georgia turns into a full-throttle adventure—complete with jaw-dropping scenery, wild mountain twisties, unexpected roadblocks, and one relentless Ferrari that just won’t back off! We kick things off with a peaceful morning hike to Anna Ruby Falls, but don’t get too comfortable—because chaos is coming. Our plan to tackle the Suches Loop (a.k.a. the Georgia Dragon) and the legendary Blood Mountain Run quickly goes sideways. 🚫 Closed roads. 🛠️ Broken-down bikers. 🚓 Law enforcement roadblocks. 🚛 A stuck truck on a blind mountain turn. 🏎️ And a Ferrari breathing down our necks the whole time. Despite the setbacks (and Two Wheels of Suches being CLOSED 😩), we loop back to Helen for lunch and then decide to chase adrenaline straight up Blood Mountain, cresting at Neels Gap—home to the iconic Mountain Crossings Store, where the Appalachian Trail cuts across the highway. By the end of it all, these roads made us seriously question our choice of motorcycle.
