Umstead 100 Training Run & Brief Course Tour/Uwharrie 40 Prep/Exmoor Jacket/Cold Weather Gear Test

This week I did a "short" 14 mile run in Umstead State Park. The main purpose of this run was to test out the gear that I would be wearing at next weekend's Uwharrie Mountain Run 40 Miler. This includes the Harrier Running Exmoor waterproof jacket as well as the T8 Sherpa shorts that I just received in the mail. I also tried to show a lot of the Umstead 100 course for those who may be running the course in the future. Those who stick around for the end of the run will be rewarded with the most glorious hat head known to man! It was a good run overall and I'm excited for next week's race and the Umstead 100 in April!
