I didn't think this question was something that people would want answered, but it has garnered enough attention for me to answer. I realize there are a lot of "solo podcaters" who keep wondering, "Should I script out my solo podcast?" Jumping into the podcasting game can be intimidating if you've never used a microphone before. I totally get it because I went through it when I first started in radio. And when you're unsure of doing something you want to lean on something that is going to hold you up in the beginning. First, I will tell you that if you are already scripting out a full podcast and it's working for you, keep doing it. If you are finding that you aren't burning out and are getting a lot of fulfillment from scripting out your solo podcast, keep doing what is working for you. However, I will be the first person to tell you that scripting out solo podcasts for myself is incredibly labor intensive and sucks up a lot of the time that could be spent creating more podcasts. I want to share with you some tips as to what you can do when it comes to scripting out a solo podcast and how you can save yourself some time.
