Bass and Drum cover of Alice In Chains “Them Bones” with the unbelievable Mohammed Kutkut. Mohammed’s channel is / kutonbass . The dude is just my kind of bass player and this song in particular, it was interesting to me to hear it from a drum / bass perspective. While the song focuses on 7/8 for many sections, I always thought Sean Kinney and Mike Starr grooved this into the ground. Clearly Jerry Cantrell is an iconic player / song writer and for that reason, his solo is included (Mohammed’s idea). Can’t stress this enough – the nasty ass bass tone you hear is untouched. Mohammed’s sound shows up ready to roll. It was my pleasure to play a part in this collab.. We’ll return to our regularly scheduled drum covers next week but as I’ve said before – drums and bass work hand in hand. And for me, I would’ve LOVED to have had the opportunity to jam live with Mr. Kutkut and I never rule anything out - I hope I can in the future. Thank you all so, so, so much for the kind words, the support and the subs. As I’ve said in multiple live situations, it is simply my honor to perform for those who show interest. These types of collaborations rarely get the views as straight covers but that doesn’t bother me in the slightest. I’m proud to be a part of it and proud to call Mohammed a friend. I truly hope all of you have had a wonderful week and have an even better weekend. Hope you are all safe, healthy and happy Should anyone want this for a guitar cover, download anytime or message me and I'll get it to you. I do not own any of the rights to any music.
