This is the first of probably a few Alice In Chains covers coming. From the album "Dirt" is a drum cover of Them Bones. I consider Sean Kinney to be an underrated master of rock drumming. He played for the song in every case. He hits hard, he's unbelievably tasteful with his playing and was / is a major influence. And while it most likely goes without saying, Layne Staley and Mike Starr were gone far too soon. I may be a drummer but Layne's vocals hit me as hard as they could from the moment I first heard him. Knowing this was a shorter song than usual, I tried to keep the video entertaining. Also, prepare for a double dose of this track as Mohammed KutKut was kind enough to send a bass cover! I'm editing the bass / drum version tonight and just a head's up - the dude is an AMAZING player and I urge anyone to head to his channel. He's almost at 1000 subs putting out incredible content. His sound and style........whew. Just f'n bad ass. / kutonbass And in drum related news, I was deeply moved when I read D’Addario were repurposing Evans G2 drum heads for PPE. If anyone is aware if used G2 heads can be donated or any other brand for that matter, please - let me know in the comment section. I do not own any of the rights to any music.
