What a beautiful melody and what timeless words with deep meaning: King of my life I crown thee now. It's a snapshot of a time when someone gives their heart and soul to Jesus, taking Him as their Savior and resting on his promise of eternal life just for asking Him to save them, and pledging their lives to Him. What a joy it is to serve Jesus. We are so unworthy on our own to receive eternal life, and even our faith alone wouldn't be enough, he provides the faith to ask and the gift of salvation. "Thine shall the glory be:" It isn't to glorify us, but to glorify Him that we ask and believe in Him to save us, it is HIS sinless blood that was shed for OUR salvation, the only worthy sacrifice that God can accept for cleansing us from our sins. Heaven awaits those who will ask and receive His great salvation. Have you done that and committed your life to Jesus, the Christ, the son of the living God? If you have not, there is no better time to do that than right now. Just pray to Him and what a difference it will make in your life and your eternal future! Verse 1: King of my life, I crown Thee now, Thine shall the glory be, Lest I forget Thy thorn-crowned brow, Lead me to Calvary. Chorus: Lest I forget Gethsemane; lest I forget Thine agony; Lest I forget Thy love for me, Lead me to Calvary. Verse 2: Show me the tomb where Thou wast laid, tenderly mourned and wept, Angels in robes of light arrayed, guarded Thee whilst Thou slept. Verse 3: Let me like Mary, trough the gloom, come with a gift for Thee Show to me now the empty tomb, lead me to Calvary. Verse 4: May I be willing, Lord, to bear, daily my cross for Thee, Even Thy cup of grief to share, Thou hast borne all for me. (To chorus) Thanks for watching and listening!
