Here's another aerial video of the Virgin Trains USA (formerly Brightline) railroad construction at SR-528 and US-1 in Cocoa, FL. At this location, the new tracks will branch off from the existing Florida East Coast (FEC) tracks that follow US-1, go under SR-528, and then go over a bridge across Industry Rd. Between the new track and SR-528 will be a large water retention pond, which has already been started. These are also being dug out to provide the dirt necessary for the overpass at Industry Rd. After exploring the construction area for a little while, a northbound mixed freight train drove by. Unfortunately, the drone was almost out of battery, so I had to land before the train was gone! Locomotives: FEC 813 - GE ES44C4 (LNG Tank) FEC 814 - GE ES44C4 Later that day, after heading south on US-1, I caught another train near Rockledge, FL. It was a southbound intermodal train.
