Mt. Učka is the highest mountain in Istria peninsula and Vojak its highest peak at 1,400 metres. Already seen in movies #2, #147 and #151 on bike rides. However, now it's time to explore some of its many hiking paths! Filmed in July 2016. Starting in Lovran in the morning, almost at the sea level, we went up 1,000 steps and then began the climb. ;) But the filming starts near Liganj when we finally left civilization behind. Going through the vast forest of Mt. Učka, by a few mountain huts, getting lost, enjoying the views, climbing the top, meeting some interesting animals (well, a reptile), meeting great people and just having a great time! Now, while the movie will show you basically the entire hike, it actually took about 9 hours or so and I had to speed up many sections. Still, it's all there so you can see exactly which way we went.
