Joppa is a famous tourist destination located in the southern part of the Mediterranean Sea, the city of Tel Aviv in Israel. This place is also called Jaffa in Hebrew and yafa or Joppa in Arabic. The city of Joppa is famous for many things. First of all, the port here is the oldest port in Israel, where we find in the Bible in book of Jonah, who went to Nineveh from this port. Secondly, when King Solomon built the temple in Jerusalem, he brought the logs from Lebanon here in this port. Thirdly, when Peter prayed to the Dorcas she raised from the dead. Dorcas lived here in Joppa . The fourth important thing is that the apostle Peter saw a vision in the house of Simon. After he received the vision Peter went to Caesarea to obey God. The city of Joppa is inhabited by people from the Jewish, Arab and Christian communities. This place is a peaceful place where people from all communities live together. Due to this place being a tourist place, visitors from many places come here, due to which people from hotels, restaurants as well as boat rides have been able to make a living here. Joppa was the main seaport and entry gate to Isreal for thousands of years untill just before the time of Christ.
