The difference is that after cutting and removing the two zip ties on the top of your moss pole and cutting and removing the two zip ties at the bottom of your extension moss pole, you should wait until having mounted and attached those to cut and remove the zip ties above. That way the extension is much easier to do. Hope this helps!
