Ambati Rambabu in Rajahmundry & YSRCP Responses 🔹 Ambati Rambabu Shifted to Rajahmundry Jail Former minister and senior YSRCP leader Ambati Rambabu was arrested by Andhra Pradesh Police in Guntur over derogatory remarks allegedly made against Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and subsequently shifted to Rajahmundry Central Jail under police custody with stringent security arrangements. 🔹 YSRCP Leaders Mobilising Around the Incident While there’s no specific published press meet in Rajahmundry after a “moolakhat” available in mainstream media as of now, YSRCP leaders have taken several actions and made statements in the wider context: 🟣 YSRCP Solidarity and Criticism Senior party leaders, including State Coordinator Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy and others, held meetings and expressed solidarity with Ambati Rambabu’s family and other leaders after reported incidents of vandalism at his residence. They criticised the Andhra Pradesh government for what they described as a breakdown in law and order and alleged intimidation of opposition leaders. YSRCP leaders have accused the ruling coalition of suppressing dissent and targeting opposition voices, and proposed to take the matter to the National Human Rights Commission and Delhi if necessary. Some party spokespeople have also demanded deployment of central forces, alleging that local authorities have failed to protect opposition leaders from politically motivated attacks. 🟣 Press Statements & Warnings YSRCP leaders have publicly condemned attacks on the residences of Ambati Rambabu and other opposition figures and warned political opponents that retaliation could occur once they return to power. Senior figures within YSRCP have also questioned law enforcement actions and raised concerns about selective enforcement of cases against their leaders.
