C8 Corvette Autocross Fastest Run POV | Five Flags Speedway SS Prepared Class

The C8 Corvette autocross season is officially underway, and this event at Five Flags Speedway in Pensacola turned out to be another great day behind the wheel. This was my first event competing in SS Prepared after moving up a class due to my rear wing and front splitter. The course at Five Flags is always short and technical, which makes precision driving critical. Avoiding cones and maximizing grip through the tight sections is the key to putting down a fast time. Despite the challenging layout, I managed to finish 2nd in class and 7th fastest overall for the day. Not bad for the early part of the season! In this video you’ll see my POV of the quickest run of the day, navigating the tight autocross course and trying to stay clean through the cones. Even better news — I’ve discovered another nearby autocross venue, which means I can now run two events per month with very little travel time. My next event will be March 21 at Ft. Rucker with Wiregrass SCCA, which should be a much faster and longer course compared to Five Flags.
