Curved Ridge on Buachaille Etive Mor in Glencoe is one of the best grade 2 mountain scrambles in Scotland, and the best easy route up the mighty mountain, with just a few exposed moves along the way, and epic sunset views from the summit once you get there; a wild camping adventure is the best way to see these mountains, and in the summer it’s light until nearly midnight, so an evening start is fine. This is a great scramble for anyone looking to take on Aonach Eagach, as it tests the nerve just enough to get a feel for the prolonged exposure on that mighty ridge, but if you’re a keen hiker and not a scrambler, then the path up the corrie is beautiful too, and rewards you with a fair few wild camping spots with epic sunset views at the summit The river at the foot of the Buachaille has some great wild swimming spots too, and is a nice place for some wild camping if bagging a Munro isn’t top of your list Filmed on the GoPro Hero 8 and edited in Lumafusion, but I can’t wait to get a Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera to really start getting epic adventure short films made.
