**UPDATE** Many of you PM me and are concerned with how fast your horse can learn this. guys, that is not the point. Your horse will learn it as fast as he/she can depending on their abilities and your abilities to teach it. As for switching to the saddle, make sure your horse is stepping off of voice regularly and then add the whip from the saddle. Then you can add a rein or weight command to ask for specific legs. but the most important thing is to TAKE IT SLOW!!! If you push it you may scare, confuse or frustrate your horse!!! *** You guys asked for it, here you go! (btw I am not a good impromptu speaker so I apologize for the stuttering... ) This is how i introduce the spanish walk on the ground. eventually you will train them with the voice command STEP only and transfer it into the saddle. Remember though to be careful, don't push your horse, and take your time, especially if you have very little experience with non-traditional training. It's too dangerous and shouldnt be taught to any horse unless you are 160% positive you will never sell the horse, as most people do not appreciate a rearing horse.
