I didn't pre cooked the apple filling before baking. The fresh apple is soft and yummy with the pie sheet after baking. It's a simple easy recipe. Happy baking apple pie. Add 3Tbsp of sugar in this video ( 4apples ) Add less sugar and taste it then adjust the amount of sugar (Depends on how many apples you use and how sour your apples are.) The Apple filling would shrink so place a lot over the pastry. Bake for about 25~30minutes or until it's nice and brown. Fan forced 180℃ Conventional 200℃ Brush over with melted butter after baking. Ingredients 4 Apples ( in this video ) or 2 Apples 3Tbsp ( 4apples) 1.5Tbsp ( 2apples) 2tsp Lemon juice or 1tsp 1Tbsp Cinnamon powder or 1/2 Tbsp Half a sheet of short pastry A third of a sheet of puff pastry ( for the top and 2strips for the sides.)
