Faith, Hope and love abide, but of these three, the greatest is love. Jesus tells us that we are meant to worship him in spirit and in truth. He gives us the signs so that we may believe, he changes the world and changes lives so that we may believe. Our lives often evolved into chaos, but if we pay close attention, we can feel a guiding force carrying us and bringing clarity in the confusion, bringing Hope in the hopelessness. Through the wounds of Jesus Christ we are healed. When Jesus came back and appeared to Thomas, he still had the wounds from his crucifixion. His glorified body, which was perfect in every way, still had the imperfections of what this broken fallen world did to him. When we become a new creation in Christ, we still have the wounds from our old lives. (‭‭Matthew‬ ‭3‬:‭1‬-‭3‬) “In those days John the Baptist came preaching in the wilderness of Judea, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” For this is he who was spoken of by the prophet Isaiah when he said, “The voice of one crying in the wilderness: ‘Prepare the way of the Lord; make his paths straight.’”” (‭‭Psalm‬ ‭46‬:‭1‬-‭3‬) “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way, though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains tremble at its swelling.” (‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭2‬:‭1‬-‭10‬) “And you were dead in the trespasses and sins in which you once walked, following the course of this world, following the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience— among whom we all once lived in the passions of our flesh, carrying out the desires of the body and the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, like the rest of mankind. But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved— and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, so that in the coming ages he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.
