Elders of Ugbineh Community in Ovia North East Local Government Area of Edo State have debunked media reports accusing the Okhaghele of the community, Mr. Domnic Edobor of chasing away Pa David Omoikhiuwu Obazelu who claims to be Ozukpogieva in the community. Elders of Ugbineh Community, pa Oseyokhuo Eriamantor, the Okhao-Oran of Benin Senior Chief priest of Ovia shrine, Ohen. Fredrick Osawe and Junior Priest Of Ovia shrine Ohen Alfred Agbonedesu expressed displeasure that one of their sons Pa David Obazelu is claiming to be the second in command in the community when there are four elders ahead of him in the community's hierarchy. They said when they told him the facts of the existing tradition and customs, he allegedly ran to the media accusing the Okhaghele of the community Dominic Edobor of conniving with some Elders to ostracize him from the community. Some elderly women who also commented on the issue described the allegations of Pa Obazelu as attempt to cause disharmony among the inhabitants of the community. In a swift reaction pa David Obazelu who debunked the Allegations Via telephone interview said it is his turn to be installed as Odionwere of Ugbineh Community as the Ozukpogieva to late Odionwere.
