Troy Hand, TRT’s Crane Sales Manager, talks with Grant Moffat, National Plant Manager at HEB Construction, to discuss their long-standing partnership with TRT and the recent addition of the Kobelco 7120 SFS to HEB’s fleet. Grant explains that the decision to choose the Kobelco 7120 SFS was driven by several key factors. The crane’s footprint was a strong match for HEB’s temporary staging requirements, while the engineering strength of the beams provided confidence for demanding applications. Piling capability was another critical consideration, as piling remains one of the most important functions within HEB’s crane fleet. Finally, the ability to transport the crane efficiently across New Zealand with minimal loads, made the 7120 SFS a practical and cost-effective choice. When asked what it’s like working with TRT, Grant reflects on a relationship spanning more than 30 years. “Yeah, it’s good. I’ve been working with TRT for probably well over 30 years in different formats. It’s the culture and values that I like about the business, and that’s what’s important to us.
