You can make it from start to finish in just 10 minutes! We are creating an emulsified salt scrub that will leave your skin feeling silky smooth and soft! Just six ingredients are required for this recipe (5 if you choose to remove the preservative and decant your product with dry hands before use). We are using Durosoft PG4 -O (Polyglyceryl-4 oleate) within this recipe as an emulsifier. This turns the scrub into an almost milky consistency in the water and ensures that it doesn't leave an oily film on your body. Blackcurrant and Argan seed oils are included as the are high in Linoleic acid and low on the comedogenic score (which means they shouldn't clog pores and cause acne breakouts). When selecting your sea salt, make sure you purchase one without any added anti-caking ingredients so that you get the purest salt possible without any additives. The recipe we used today is as follows, though this will only make a small batch to fill a jar of approximately 150ml (For larger quantities simply scale up the recipe): Fine Sea Salt 210g Blackcurrant Seed Oil 20g Argan Oil 15g Durosoft PG4 -O (Polyglyceryl-4 oleate) 5.5g Geogard Preservative Eco 2g Fragrance or Essential Oils (We used "Nordic Cedar" by Candle Shack) 5g If you enjoy our videos and soap making tutorials please do give us a like and subscribe :-) You can also follow us and find our soaps here: www.sussexsoap.co.uk www.facebook.com/sussexhandmadesoap www.instagram.com/sussex_handmade_soap #saltscrubs #soapmaking #emulsifiedscrubs
