Grace Hopper - named after the great computer pioneer - is the latest cable that will connect New York, United States, Cornwall, United Kingdom, and Bilbao, Spain. With a new first-of-a-kind switching architecture, this state of the art cable will provide network level reliability and flexibility by adjusting to unforecasted traffic patterns. It will also improve access to Google’s services like Meet, Gmail and Google Cloud for users in the UK, and will bring critical diversity and resiliency to our network and cloud customers.
