Exploring Walter F. George Lock, Dam and Powerhouse | Chattahoochee River - 2023

I am exploring the Walter F. George Lock, Dam and Powerhouse. It is located on the Chattahoochee River. This engineering marvel created what appropriately known as the Walter F. George Lake. Walter F. George Lake is better known in these parts as Lake Eufaula, named for the town of Eufaula Alabama. It was built to harness the powerful flow of the River through its Hydroelectrical Powerhouse. This area attracts fishing, boating and camping. It is actually a Southern Wonder as a result of its loud, whirling waters present at the base of the dam. Please join me on this journey. I promise YOU won't get wet!
