Badami Chicken Handi | Easiest & Delicious Chicken Handi Recipe 𝙄𝙉𝙂𝙍𝙀𝘿𝙄𝙀𝙉𝙏𝙎 & 𝙄𝙉𝙎𝙏𝙍𝙐𝘾𝙏𝙄𝙊𝙉𝙎:- 𝙄𝙣𝙜𝙧𝙚𝙙𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨:- For Almond Paste: Almonds(Soaked & Peeled)-12 Nos Water-2 Tbsp For Chicken Marination: Chicken(Boneless Cubes)-500 Grams Ginger Garlic Paste-1 Tbsp Lime Juice-Half Lime Almond Paste Black Pepper(Crushed)-1 Tsp Turmeric Powder-1/4 Tsp Salt-As Per Taste For Cooking: Oil-1/4 Cup Green Cardamoms-5 Nos Black Peppercorns-20-25 Nos Cinnamon Stick-2 Inches Onion(Sliced)-2 Medium Sized Marinated Chicken Garam Masala Powder-1/2 Tsp Cumin Powder-1 Tsp Black Pepper(Crushed)-1 Tsp Salt-As Per Taste Fresh Cream-1/2 Cup Water-1/4 Cup Kasuri Methi(Crushed)-1 Tsp (Sliced Almonds For Garnish) 𝙄𝙣𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙪𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨:- 1.Prepare the Almond Paste: •Blend the soaked and peeled almonds with water to form a smooth paste. Set aside. 2.Marinate the Chicken: •In a mixing bowl, combine the chicken cubes with ginger garlic paste, lime juice, the prepared almond paste, crushed black pepper, turmeric powder, and salt. Mix well to coat the chicken evenly. Let it marinate for at least 1 hour. 3.Cook the Dish: •Heat oil in a handi or a deep pan over medium heat. •Add green cardamoms, black peppercorns, and the cinnamon stick. Sauté for a minute until fragrant. •Add the sliced onions and cook until they turn golden brown. •Add the marinated chicken to the handi and cook until the chicken is browned and cooked through. •Sprinkle in the garam masala powder, cumin powder, crushed black pepper and salt. Stir well to combine. •Pour in the fresh cream and cook till oil separates. •Add water, Cover and Cook for 15 minutes on lower flame. •Add crushed kasuri methi for an extra layer of flavor. Mix well. •Allow the chicken to simmer until the gravy thickens to your desired consistency. 4.Garnish and Serve: •Garnish the badami chicken handi with sliced almonds. •Serve hot with naan, roti, or rice.
