Badami Chicken Curry Recipe - Murg Badami Recipe | Best Chicken Recipe - JOOS Food Ingredients 500 gm Chicken pre cut 1 tbsp Oil 1 tbsp Ghee 2 Cloves 2 Black peppercorn ½ inch Cinnamon 1 Black Cardamom 1 Bay Leaf 1 cup Onion, Chopped 1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste ¼ cup Curd 2 Green Chilli, Slit ¼ tsp Turmeric powder 1 tsp Coriander Powder 1 tsp Red Chilli Powder 1 tsp Salt 15 Almonds Blanched, peeled and made into a paste 1/2 cup Milk 1 tbsp Kasuri Methi Method Heat oil and ghee in a pan, add cloves, peppercorn, cinnamon, cardamom and bay leaf and let them crackle for a few seconds. Add onion and chilies and fry until slightly browned. Add ginger and garlic and fry for 2 mins or till the raw aroma goes away. Add salt and powder spices and fry till it starts sticking to the pan. Add chicken and cook on high heat for 4-5 minutes. Add curd and almond paste and cook for 2-3 mins or till oil separates. Add milk and 1/2 cup water and cover and cook until chicken is done. Remove the lid and cook until the gravy is slightly thickened. Add kasuri methi and mix well. Serve hot with naan or rice.
