When Terraria first came out in 2011, "boss 1" was the only theme that would play when the player faces any boss. Throughout Terraria's history, 6 boss and 1 invasion have been assigned "boss 1" as their theme. The game have seen many changes concerning the assignation of soundtracks over the years, many bosses once shared their theme with other bosses/events. "Boss 3", the current Brain of Cthulhu's theme once was the destroyer's own track. It was also used in later updates as the frost legion's and torch god's theme. Nowadays it still belongs to both the brain of Cthulhu and the frost legion. Yet, the game has seen a massive redistribution of its tracks all over the years.
