Last paddle of the outing, and if you want peace, quiet, and solitude, then try here. This is my second video of this trip, but this is in HD. As stated, it is a unique place in the UK, and has a feel of a miniature (Very miniature) Canada. You can also paddle around from Glenuig, which is also excellent. The whole area, is just off the A830 "Road to the Isles" linking Fort William to Mallaig. Many superb paddles can be had in this area, top of my 'To do' list, is an overnighter to Eigg, then Rum, and if one is lucky Canna as well, before returning to Arisaig, or Tioram Castle, even. We put in at Tioram Castle, made our way around Eilean Shona, west through the North Channel, and into the open sea. We landed at the 'White sands of Smirisary' that I'm sure you could have a round of golf on,complete with bunkers, then north to Samalaman Island. This is very near Glenuig, which is an alternative start/finish.This paddle concluded a really excellent trip, and at at the time it was all too easy to take the fine weather for granted, the stillness, and peace of the evenings was a joy to behold, and I'm certainly glad I was there, as this was indeed Summer 2012...........that was it. The music was all my own work, and acoustic version of the original them for the trip, and a piano number for the reprise bit. The piano is not my greatest talent, and I have to work very hard at it. The tunes come to me, but playing them is another thing indeed. This one took about 50 attempts to get right, over a course of 3 or 4 nights, as Roy Castle would have said.............Dedication Son, that's what you need.
