Allah states clearly: يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا كُتِبَ عَلَيْكُمُ الصِّيَامُ كَمَا كُتِبَ عَلَى الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُونَ Surah Al Baqarah 2:183 The objective is taqwa. In this khutbah, we explore: • What taqwa truly is according to the Qur’an • The Qur’anic definition of the muttaqun (Aal Imran 3:133–136) • The portrait of true knowledge (Az Zumar 39:9) • How communal taqwa brings communal openings (Al Araf 7:96) • How taqwa grants furqan, clarity in times of confusion (Al Anfal 8:29) • How taqwa is lost when self accountability disappears (Al Hashr 59:18) The Qur’an makes something powerful clear: When individuals live with taqwa, hearts transform. When families live with taqwa, homes stabilize. When leadership lives with taqwa, justice rises. When an ummah lives with taqwa, Allah opens the blessings of the heavens and the earth. An ummah without taqwa may have numbers and noise. An ummah with taqwa has Allah. May Allah make us from the muttaqun.
