Good morning, friends and families! We hope you are doing well on this wet and chilly Friday morning, between Christmas and New Year's! Drew left a little while ago with Charlotte, to take her home to her mama! We are so excited for her and Jean and hope the transition is as smooth as smooth can be! In other news, we are receiving Juno today! We are really excited to see Juno - we love that we get to be part of her life as she grows. She is a littermate to Mocha, so the two of them have a really strong bond and always pick up right where they left off. When I came to the computer to start setting up the livestream, Myra began looking at the wall and barking at me. I put the dogs outside and came back to the kitchen to find Myra scratching at the wall - she wants the laser light show to start! The dogs love this goofy toy we got them for Christmas, hopefully Juno has fun with it too! And onto the stars of the show, with a special appearance from Juno in today's and other upcoming streams: Missy - our only Ruby & Alpha female Robin - our blenheim with more white than chestnut Daisy Doodle - our smaller tricolor with lots of freckles Myra - Charlotte's mom and our second, bigger tricolor with a darker face Paris (sister to Pom) - our fluffiest and one of our darker blenheims, with long curly ears Pom Pom (sister to Paris) - aka Pom, Pommy, Pompeii; one of our smallest Cavalier moms Remy - our biggest blenheim mama, with very dark chestnut; she's very lanky and her long fur needs to grow back in! Vienna (wearing Mickey Mouse) - our smallest blenheim, Paris's daughter, turns 1 year on NYE Mocha - our only black & tan female/ Pom & Macchiato's daughter (about 6 months); sister to Juno, a frequent visitor Looking forward to seeing all of you soon! With warm hugs and cavalier kisses, Elisabeth & Drew If you'd like to donate to the dogs directly, we've created a "Buy Me a Coffee" link. We wanted to change it to "Buy Me a Chew Toy," it was only an option if we wanted to pay a percentage of donations received back to the host party. Viewers frequently ask how they can send things for the dogs, so we came up with our own "Buy Me a Chew Toy" link here: https://ko-fi.com/redbarncavaliers If you'd like to become a member of our channel for access to exclusive RBC perks, you can join here: / @redbarncavaliers . We invite the families and friends of our puppies 'into' our home to watch their puppy thrive and grow. You are viewing some of our current Cavalier puppies. We perform all of their care on the livestream for families to see and be part of, including vaccinations, weight checks, dewormings, socialization, and so more. We raise Cavalier King Charles Spaniels with an emphasis on their emotional-social development. We have raised many puppies for the distinct purpose for becoming Emotional Support Animals. This breed of dog has a temperament that is ripe for therapeutic bonding, so we nurture those characteristics to help bring them out and optimize them further. We potty train our puppies using pine pellets designed for rehydration. The timing is important because as they get older, they crawl away from their nest to potty and poop - so we want them to go to the pellets! Using this method, our puppies typically understand where to go potty within about a week of practice, and they use the potty tray on their own.. By about 6-7 weeks old, they begin waking during the night to use the potty tray. Our young puppies are kept in our master bedroom for 24-hour observation and care. We leave the audio on so that viewers are able to hear the puppies' vocalizations, but that means you may overhear some personal interactions. We show you how we potty train our puppies starting as early as a week old, and how we nurture their training throughout their 8 weeks with us to hand off a well-trained puppy to their family.
