SCOTLANDS NORTH COAST 500 (NC500) IN A MOTORHOME! - DAY 5!

Welcome back to our channel! Day 5 - We continued on our journey and drove a further 102 miles across the north coast of the NC500. Leaving Dunnet head behind, our first stop was Smoo Cave. This is a very popular tourist attraction as you can go and explore the natural caves and even take a guided boat tour in and around the caves. As we had our dog Willow we opted out of the boat tour and took a walk up onto the cliff edge instead. The views were amazing! Up next there was one of Scotlands most stunning beaches called Sango Bay. There is actually a campsite that overlooks the bay which is incredible. Unfortunately the campsite was fully booked, so this is one I would advise booking up early! The beach is truly stunning and if it wasn't for the stereotypical Scottish weather, you could mistake it for a beach in the Caribbean! After having a good wander around the beach we went to Cocoa Mountain which is a MUST for all you chocolate lovers. We finally finished off out day Wild camping at Shegra Bay Campsite. This campsite has zero facilities, but works on a donation basis. You make a donation, find a space and camp away! Nice little hidden Gem and has another lovely walk up onto the cliff edge which over looks the sea! This just about rounds up our day 5 on the NC500 and another day which didn't disappoint!
