Good news and bad news, though will just say it: I thought I lost this recording so I started up a new one and found out afterwards that it was not lost afterall. So I could go in and edit this into a two-parter, although for now I will just upload this one and pretend for a while that I didn't goof. ...until I get fed up with myself and go back in, trim this down and upload it as a two part recording because 2 hours is a bit much (even in the background as not much happened this time [again] as it were). Anyways, running out of parts and power, lost large chunks of my rover, and my humoring of myself botching up is wearing thin, so I need to get meaningful progress before I run out of any forward progress. I did build both a Basic Assembler and Basic Refinery and got their Progression tech tree unlocks, went and grind down the Basic Refinery and get the proper Refinery almost built, though I need raw materials for the Basic Assembler to build what I still lack. I do have enough Cobalt and Metal Grids obtained from those Unknown Signal drops, though I am quite lacking in Iron and Nickel for Large Tubes and Motors, so I'm using the last remaining power in my wrecked rover rig to drill and process the local stone deposit into the materials needed. I do have a solar panel for some power (not enough during bad weather, mind you) so I need to hunker down and wait for getting everything processed. I am also low on rations, though the local trading station (a vehicle dealer) does have small supply of snacks and I do have enough funds to rely on that for the meanwhile. Although I would feel much better once I fatten up my stockpiles with enough basic materials. Other than that, I got not much else to say. Since I will be waiting on this video to upload I am going to go back in and do another hour recording and just hold onto the video (until I have one of those days I just don't want to record anything so I'll upload it then). Here's hoping I will get some meaningful progress with that one so I can start doing what I would rather be doing: harass the Pirate factions and be sorting through their scraps.
