An amazing countryside location near Newquay in Cornwall was the setting for our latest mobile DJ venture for the 40th birthday party of Sam in a marquee, lovingly built by hand by partner Richard. Hog roasts and plentiful refreshments kept the guests going til the early hours and we entertained the intimate crowd with some classic floor fillers and an advance playlist with a smattering of indie favourites too. As marquees can be dark at night without sufficient lighting we used a few of our uplighters to add some colour to proceedings. Note: Without getting too technical, as marquees generally don't have solid walls or roofs, sound isn't contained like interior venues so will require a bigger sound system to compensate. This is why the footage doesn't accurately represent the sound on the night due to our larger sub making the cameras compression kick in "flattening" the sound.
