I was sold a counterfeit JLR interface by Autonumen, I ordered another JLR DOIP directly from Bosch and these are the differences I observed. The seller refused a refund or return until I opened a dispute, and then demanded I mail the item back to China, but I decided instead to make a video to hopefully help others out there. The seller swore up and down the device was genuine. Order direct and don’t trust online retailers! It also did not come in original packaging, the seller claimed this was due to them “testing” the device. Here at Advanced Automotive Solutions, we’ll never knowingly sell a clone, and we’ll never reprogram existing modules or program new vehicle modules with anything other than OEM equipment and software. Aftermarket equipment and software should be a last resort for many reasons!
