𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐆𝐮𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 (𝐂𝐏𝐆) 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 – 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐎𝐛𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐒𝐥𝐞𝐞𝐩 𝐀𝐩𝐧𝐨𝐞𝐚 The latest CPG training series on the Management of Obstructive Sleep Apnoea (OSA) was successfully held on 23 August 2025, in collaboration with the Malaysian Medical Association (MMA), the Academy of Family Physicians of Malaysia (AFPM), and the Academy of Medicine of Malaysia (AMM). 💡 The session attracted 507 healthcare professionals and was also streamed live via the MMA Facebook page, reaching over 780 additional viewers in real time extending the impact of this training to an even wider audience. 📚 Key topics included: ✔️ Epidemiology and risk factors of OSA ✔️ Management of adult and paediatric OSA ✔️ Practical guidance for diagnosis and treatment in the case discussions, which was all well-received with participants' active engagement. A special note of thanks goes to the CPG Development Group (DG) members, who generously gave their time on a weekend to deliver these insightful lectures. A big thank you also to MMA for providing the platform to make this training possible. This collaborative effort is a significant step towards the successful implementation of the CPG through a platform specifically designed for primary care providers. By strengthening knowledge and competencies at the primary care level, we aim to improve early diagnosis, management, and patient outcomes with OSA nationwide.
