This Year at Giortes Rokkas 2019, the CRETAN YOUTH SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA, Municipality of Heraklion, performed a concert with the works of Manos Hatzidakis: “The Smile of the Jokon” and excerpts from the music from “Ornithes” by Aristophanes, edited for orchestra by Haris Veneris, under his direction International Reputation Chief Miltos Logiadis. Preparation of Orchestra, Dimitris Chandrakis. The concert included the Youth Choir of the Municipality of Heraklion, under the artistic direction of Ioannis Idomeneos, the Choir of Chania “Cantilena” under the direction of Giorgos Kaloutsis, the Traditional Music Choir of the Holy Metropolis of Kissamos and Selino under the direction of George Hahlakis, and the Choir of the Parents and Guardians Association of the Music School of Chania under the direction of Georgia Nikoloudaki.
