One More Winter and It Was Finished

This 40-year-old greenhouse has seen better days. The base is rotten, the frame is unstable and one more winter might finish it for good. This week we take it apart, strip out the decay and try to give it a second life. There’s plenty of graft, a few awkward moments and one particularly delicate job cutting branches around a live fibre line. One slip and we’re offline for a long time. Elsewhere, the floor starts to come up as Row makes her first appearance (with her sister Nem and niece Orla) getting stuck in and progress finally begins to gather pace.
