#ASMR #NoTalking #BlueMerle #vegan #Folkestone_Baycon #Faversham Join Moolie and me for another no talking, silent adventure as we walk from the centre of Faversham square down West st, and past the noise and bustle of the Shepherd Neame Brewery and into the peace and quiet of the Saxon Shore Way coastal path. 00:00 Start the walk in Faversham town centre 01:20 Walking through Shepherd Neame Brewery 02:03 Bridge crossing the Creek 02:54 Map check #1 03:10 Market town of Kings! 04:00 Down the alley 04:18 Into the fields 05:00 Map check #2 05:27 Fetch! 06:29 Map check #3 09:40 Coffee mishaps - Spillage! 10:25 Second attempt - more stable 11:10 Food for Mooliechops 11:35 Brown magic! 12:27 Chop chop 13:30 Here comes the rain! 16:12 Toasted almonds 21:28 Play time! 22:55 BayCon vegan pancetta 25:00 Baguette 26:07 Very content! 29:40 Packing up 31:06 Hit the road again 31:25 "Enjoy the view" 32:18 Fields of gold We walk until we find some small boulders and then setup camp out the wind! Watch as I chop up shallots, shitake mushrooms, courgettes and fry them. Then I add some vegan 12h oak smoked pancetta from Folkestone BayCon (https://www.folkestonebaycon.com). We start with boiling water for coffee on the MSR micro stove but minor disaster hits when the stove topples spilling water. Luckily no one is hurt and an important lesson is learnt. I will be investing in stove base legs to make the stove more stable! It would have been easy to edit this out and pretend it didn't happen but the whole point is to share the real adventure, mishaps, mistakes and all. This way we can learn together! It really is all good fun and to be honest and when things go wrong that's when the adventure really starts. The adventure continues to get even more fun when the rain arrives as we're right in the middle of cooking! Not to worry, I was going to add a dash of water to the dish anyway! Finally the sun comes out as we break camp and head home. We hope you enjoy watching this as much as we enjoyed making it. Remember to keep the "heart" in your adventure and be respectful of nature. You'll notice I took every single bit of rubbish home with me, even the 'biodegradable' things like the onion skin and courgette ends. Just because something is 'biodegradable' does not mean it should be left in the wild. Thank you to all you truly great people who take their litter home and to the wonderful volunteers who were picking up litter from the path (not shown in the video). PS. For those interested in the gear I am using: Vegan Boots: Scarpa Mavericks - I really love these boots! Knife: Morakniv - an amazing investment, its spine is squared off for fire striking.
