The speech was delivered by the honourable diplomatic guest, Mr. M . Ashraf Haidari, (Dy. Chief-de-Mission of the Embassy of Afghanistan in India) during the First High Profile International Conference on the theme "Intellectual Crises of the Muslim Ummah: Rethinking Traditional Solutions" Over 600 international experts, religious scholars, public intellectuals, academics and peace activists attended this 2-day conclave, from all over the world, to shed light on the main issues and challenges facing the Ummah today, and to discuss lessons learned from previously though-out solutions. The conference was organized by the Centre for Promotion of Educational and Cultural Advancement of Muslims of India (CPECAMI) during 6-7 April 2015 at the Aligarh Muslim University.
