This one will make you feel like giving up at multiple points, so save often and keep several backups. Small actions can make significant differences in the long run. As soon as you start, take as many buildings as you can. Dwellings are a priority early on, as they will spawn units indefinitely until captured. Each building you capture will award you 200 Gold. The only exception is the ruin south of your landing site, which will give you 1000 Gold upon capture. Try to time the reinforcements you request, as units you request while the ship is en route won't appear until the next trip. Halberdiers will be your go-to unit for most of the Mission, as they can fight through the enemy waves and storm buildings more effectively. Make sure they don't stay under arrow fire for long and try to engage the enemy as the approach piecemeal. If the enemy is allowed to amass a large amount of units, try to lure them into your buildings' range, so they can provide supporting fire on the concentrated enemy forces while you engage them. The longer you wait, the harder the enemy buildings will be to take. Given enough time, most buildings will be garrisoned by up to 25 men. Capturing Lookout Towers is a good option if you want more Gold without sacrificing too many Halberdiers. Shooting enemy buildings from nearby captured ones will help clear them with fewer losses. Capturing buildings near the ones the enemies spawn from will help shoot them down as they leave their buildings. Doing this with the Tower near the southern Temple (which spawns units) will pretty much neutralize it when garrisoned by 10 or more men. The AI will sometimes light their own buildings on fire by accident. This is convenient when it happens to Dwellings, as the Gold bounty is usually not worth the amount of men needed to capture them. As the enemy loses Dwellings, their spawning numbers will thin down. By that point, calling in Harquebusiers might be a good idea, as they can help soften up garrisons while your Halberdiers approach the buildings. Make sure they have ammo available. Keep clearing the remaining buildings, and you will eventually be awarded the win without having to capture the very last one.
