What shock is that? This video I am walking you through installing a CBR 954 rear shock on the Honda GL650 build that is promising for great handling and performance! The old shock is long gone and this 954 unit seems to be a solid upgrade as per the recommendations by Kevin Murphy. This shock has a 14.6 kg/mm spring rate where many others are simply too soft to use. I know the CBR600 F4 is another popular option and that one has a rate of 14.2 kg/mm. The R1 is another option that I have seen. I chose this based off of personal interaction and trust instead of online discussion.
