#tamannaah #trending #viralvideo #singapore #travel #travelvlog #nature #singaporevlog #vortex #viralvideos Hello ji, Over the next three days, we’ll be capturing the beauty of Singapore, exploring some of its most iconic locations. Singapore History(Sum) Lee Kuan Yew co-founded the People's Action Party (PAP) in 1954 and won his first seat at the Tanjong Pagar division during the 1955 general election. He became the de facto opposition leader in parliament, to Chief Ministers David Marshall and Lim Yew Hock of the Labour Front. Lee led his party to its first electoral victory in 1959 and was appointed the state's first prime minister. To attain complete home rule from Britain, Lee campaigned for a merger with other former British territories in a national referendum to form Malaysia in 1963. Racial strife and ideological differences later led to Singapore's expulsion from Malaysia and subsequent independence in 1965, less than two years after the merger. Lee eschewed populist policies in favour of long-term social and economic planning, championing civic nationalism through meritocracy and multiracialism as governing principles, making English the lingua franca[6] to integrate its immigrant society and to facilitate trade with the world, whilst mandating bilingualism in schools to preserve the students' mother tongue and ethnic identity.Lee Kuan Yew stepped down as prime minister in 1990, but remained in the Cabinet under his successors, holding the appointments of Senior Minister until 2004, then Minister Mentor until 2011. He died of pneumonia on 23 March 2015, at the age of 91. In a week of national mourning, about 1.7 million residents and world leaders paid tribute to him at his lying-in-state at Parliament House and community tribute sites. 📍 *Day 1* – We landed in Singapore and went for a recce at **Marina Bay Sands**, saw **Merlion Bay**, and admired the stunning **Singapore skyline**. I also stopped by the **Apple Store**, soaking in the vibrant city vibes till late at night. 📍 *Day 2* – We started at **Jewel Changi Airport**, witnessing the breathtaking **Rain Vortex**. Take in the magnificent view of the Rain Vortex, which is set to be the world’s tallest indoor waterfall at 40 metres high. Come night fall, the Rain Vortex will transform into a spectacular Light and Sound show with special lighting effects. Then, we explored the colorful **Peranakan Houses at Joo Chiat**, Joo Chiat, located in the Katong district of Singapore, is a vibrant area known for its Peranakan heritage, colorful shophouses, and rich cultural history, as well as being a popular area for food and night. Known among the locals for being one of the top destinations for the best food and Instagram worthy OOTDs location in Singapore, Katong Joo Chiat is located at the eastern part of Singapore and is also known as the Peranakan enclave. Part of District 15 with tons of heritage landmarks dating back to before World War II, Katong and Joo Chiat are 2 different areas that are often combined into one as they are “virtually interchangeable”. Katong (also known as Tanjong Katong) is a residential neighbourhood, meaning “turtle point” in Malay. It was named after “Katong”, a species of sea turtles that are now extinct. Joo Chiat is an arterial road and residential conservation area that was named after Chew Joo Chiat, a famous Peranakan businessman and philanthropist that owned most of the land in the Joo Chiat and Katong districts. Read on to find out more about this Peranakan enclave, its history, and the recommended places to visit! Some amazing cinematic shots of Tamannaah Bhatia. Later, I visited the stunning **Gardens by the Bay. The Gardens by the Bay (GBTB) is an urban park spanning 105 hectares (260 acres) in the Central Region of Singapore, adjacent to the Marina Reservoir. The park consists of three waterfront gardens: Bay South Garden in Marina South, Bay East Garden with the Founders' Memorial in Marina East and Bay Central Garden in the Downtown Core and Kallang. The largest of the gardens is the Bay South Garden at 54 hectares (130 acres) designed by Grant Associates. Its Flower Dome is the largest glass greenhouse in the world Before wrapping up the day with delicious street food at **Newton Food Center. Newton Food Centre is undoubtedly one of the most iconic hawker centres in Singapore. Its 2018 appearance in Crazy Rich Asians cemented it as a must-go spot among international travellers but to locals, Newton Food Centre has long had a reputation for being a tourist trap. Thanks for watching :)D subscribe** for more travel and work vlogs. 🚀🌍 Tamannaah Bhatia, singapore,Lee Kuan Yew,singapore history, travel, vlog, vlogging, travel video, singapore airport, changi airport terminal 4,singapore airport tour, singapore airport tour hindi, places to visit in singapore, places to visit in singapore for free, places to visit in singapore 2025,singapore joo chiat,Peranakan Houses in Joo Chiat
