If you have an emotionally unavailable husband, most likely you are struggling with a lack of emotional connection in the relationship. This can be very difficult for the relationship because having a husband who is distant and not affectionate can create sadness, disappointment, and pain. Being emotionally unavailable happens when one person is unable to be vulnerable and unable to open up to their significant other in the relationship. Many people have deep wounds from past relationships that they cannot get past. Those wounds penetrate the current relationship between toxicity and unhealthy interactions. Committing to another person is a huge step for many people, and often difficult to do. So when one person is ready and willing to open up, and the other person clasps up, it can create an unhealthy situation resulting in one or both people in the relationship feeling pained and hurt. Often times women claim to receive no emotional support from their husband, which can feel very isolating and lonely. It is a strange phenomenon that sometimes we reject the things we truly want in life. That being said, some of the most emotionally unavailable men (and people in general) appear that they want to be available and connect, but when push comes to shove, their actions show otherwise.
