With the opening of the new production area in the light metal foundry, BMW Group Plant Landshut completes an investment of around 200 million euros. Since 2020, BMW Group has invested approximately one billion euros in the Lower Bavarian plant location, including about 500 million euros for the expansion of electromobility. With the production of the housing for the sixth generation of the electric drive unit, Plant Landshut takes another step in the transformation toward electromobility.
