As January moves along, join me at home as I spend some quiet time in my kitchen and garden. With seasonal produce from our local market I cook a lentil dal and flatbreads for dinner one evening, prepare a couple of jars of Lebanese style pink pickled turnips, and make a simple lunch with an assortment of herbs and greens.
