My Lyrics and Stylistic Suggestions and Slideshow: Mark Gammell All Else: AI, on Suno.com Inspiration: I came down to my computer to write my song for the day, and decided on this Title that has been rolling around in my head. This is what resulted. I am very pleased with it, and I hope everyone likes it. I was trying to give it a soft jazz Michael Buble'/Arthur Prysock feel, and I think I hit the target....or I should say, the voices aren't close, but the vibe is right on target. Recently I have been turned on to Suno.com. I am trying to create a song daily. I was recently encouraged by Chatgpt to make music videos with iMovie using my photos and videos as a means to get my wares out there. I think it adds to the impact of any song, even though I am having to reuse my photo library again and again. Sorry. It was too much work to have my lyrics show up in the video, so I just pasted them below. End Goal: I'm teaching myself the craft of song writing, I am retired, and have the goal of marketing some or all of these songs someday in Nashville, etc. I would love to get some of them recorded by a real crooner artist, his band, and by a real music studio. I play the guitar and sing, but after some serious health issues, I can do neither very well. Song writing may be the only way left for me to really scratch my musical itch. :-) If you have any suggestions, I am all ears. :-). Thanks. Don't Want To Know How Sausage Is Made - Lyrics: (Intro) There are many times in life when we don’t need detail It must trigger something inside us that is just too frail (Verse 1) Jello might be at the top of that list What do they say it’s made of — or insist Nonetheless it tastes fine — until you hear The ingredients may befuddle — or make you fear Maybe even make you raise your fist (Chorus 1) Is it just me am I alone? Nobody wanted to see my kidney stone Personally I found it quite fascinating But I guess some things need abbreviating I really don’t need to know how the sausage is made Did Jimmy Dean know or is this all a charade? (Verse 2) It may come up so let’s just say it — a bit tricky Cotton candy — neither cotton nor candy — just sticky Unless you have perverse taste buds Don’t compare it to eating gravy and spuds Crowd pleaser — satisfies even the most picky (Chorus 2) Is it just me am I alone? Nobody wanted to see my kidney stone Personally I found it quite fascinating But I guess some things need abbreviating I really don’t need to know how the sausage is made Did Jimmy Dean know or is this all a charade? (Bridge) Next time you might be tempted to divulge too much Just take a sec and think, “Would I want to know this stuff?” Some things are better left unsaid Some people are best left unwed I hate to say it, but it’s true — pretty much (Verse 3) Processed cheese is up there — makes me shudder With hot dogs, marshmallows, and peanut butter Anything that’s not “the way God made ya” Is it worth the price they paid ya? If it wins first prize, "call yer 'muddah'?" (Extended Chorus 3) Next time you might be tempted to divulge too much Just take a sec and think, “Would I want to know this stuff?” Is it just me am I alone? Nobody wanted to see my kidney stone Personally I found it quite fascinating But I guess some things need abbreviating I really don’t need to know how the sausage is made Did Jimmy Dean know or is this all a charade? (Outro) There are many times in life when we don’t need detail It must trigger something inside us that is just too frail The jury is back and the verdict is in I don’t need to know — but I vent with a grin
