Check us out on Facebook   / ohiosouthern   Hello and Welcome. Today we are watching the first run to Dillionvale in 20 years. With the fraking boom in the Ohio Valley. The Rails are playing a major part to move the fraking sand, gravel, and other materials. Although this is the 2nd train to make it up the line in the week (the first being when it took up the loaded hoppers) Still one of the first trains to make the run into almost 20 years. Of course the line was giving a little T.L.C. before operations started. The line was completely retied a few years before being abandoned. hints why it only took some trimming to get trains running again. This was a weekly run.
