Here's a bit of "elevator lecture". This has to do with some minor changes to the digital variant of floor counter used by ThyssenKrupp Elevator. In the mid-2000s, the floor counter received an animated arrow, and a new set of alpha-numeric characters. The new character set starts with the classic Dover characters introduced in the 1980s around the release time of the Impulse line of signal fixtures, but with some modifications to some characters. For example, the numbers 0, 2, 5, 6, and 9 were changed. Some letters that ended up getting changed were B, D, G, and L. I personally like the classic Dover characters. I think ThyssenKrupp would have the perfect floor counter if they included the animated scrolling arrow, but with the classic Dover characters and number spacing. The ThyssenKrupp revised 6, and 9 aren't bad, but the 0, 2, and 5 should have been left they way Dover had it. These are my personal opinions.
