The Path of the Gods. The Lower Route, from Nocelle to Agerola

The Classic Route of the Path of the Gods is from Agerola (Bomerano borough) to Nocelle and back. This route however, is so famous that it is a little crowded. It is also mostly in the sun. Therefore very hot in late spring and summer. So I chose to take the upper route on the way to Nocelle, and the lower route on the way back. Meaning in the late afternoon, with less people, when the sunshine is not so hot and at the golden hour of photography, shortly before sunset. Many people who had come the opposite way were tired and wanted a taxi or a bus to get back. While there are (few) busses to Positano, Amalfi and finally back to Agerola, there are no taxis. So it's best you be prepared to walk both ways. You will be rewarded by breathtaking views wherever you go! (The whole Coast is a WHL UNESCO property).
