Roast the Garlic (Optional — garlic powder can be used instead.) 1. Slice the top off the garlic head to expose the cloves. 2. Place on foil, drizzle with olive oil, and season lightly with salt and pepper. 3. Wrap tightly in foil. 4. Roast at 400°F (200°C) for 30–45 minutes. 5. Let cool, then squeeze the cloves out and mash into a paste. ⸻ 2. Make the Dough 1. Warm the milk (warm, not hot). 2. Add the yeast and sugar, stir, and let sit 15–20 minutes until foamy. 3. In a large bowl or stand mixer, combine flour, milk powder, and salt. 4. Add the egg, yeast mixture, and softened butter. 5. Knead 8–10 minutes until smooth and elastic. 6. Cover and let rise 45–60 minutes, until doubled in size. ⸻ 3. Prepare the Garlic Butter In a bowl, mix together melted butter, chopped parsley, roasted garlic paste, and half of the grated Parmesan.
