Various of people sheltering in metro station STORYLINE: More Iranian missiles were intercepted in Tel Aviv, Israel Saturday afternoon as Israelis sheltered in metro stations and underground areas across the country. Earlier Saturday, Iran’s paramilitary Revolutionary Guard said it had launched its “first wave” of drones and missiles targeting Israel, suggesting it planned further attacks. Iran has also targeted U.S. military installations in Bahrain, Kuwait, and Qatar, where explosions could be heard. Iran’s Supreme National Security Council confirmed in a statement the country had begun responding to joint strikes on the country by Israel and the U.S., saying its armed forces had “commenced a decisive response to these hostile acts.” The counterstrikes came after the U.S. and Israel launched a major attack on Iran on Saturday, and U.S. President Donald Trump called on the Iranian public to “seize control of your destiny” by rising up against the Islamic leadership that has ruled the nation since 1979. The strikes opened a stunning new chapter in U.S. intervention in Iran and marked the second time in eight months that the Trump administration has used military force against the Islamic Republic. =========================================================== Clients are reminded to adhere to all listed restrictions and to check the terms of their licence agreements.
